The Compensation Analyst is responsible for providing compensation support and guidance for the business leaders and Human Resources team.  This professional is responsible for position evaluations, benchmarking and compensation analysis, and FLSA classifications. This position reports to and works closely with the VP of Compensation & Benefits in wage and salary planning, and administration of the annual merit and bonus processes. The Compensation Analyst completes compensation surveys, and prepares organizational charts. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Job Evaluation - Work with HR team and management to evaluate salary recommendations for new jobs/promotions.  Assist in preparing employment offers.  Assist HR team in writing/evaluating job descriptions.  Evaluate FLSA classifications and make recommendations for changes as necessary           
* Compensation Analysis - Prepare salary survey data submissions.  Evaluate survey results and recommend changes.  Regularly evaluate incentive plan (sales, operations, studio, etc.) performance/payments and recommend changes as necessary.  Maintain up to date log of all incentive plans 
* Additional Responsibilities- Approve incentive plan payments for payroll.  Org chart maintenance.  Assist with annual salary increase process and annual incentive plan payments

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education/Certifications/Licenses      
•Bachelor’s Degree required
•Compensation Certification preferred 
Experience 
•3-5 years of Compensation experience with some HR generalist background as well  
•Prior experience in multi-site/multi-state organizations

•Strong verbal and written communication, with the ability to take complex concepts and communicate succinctly and accurately
•Exceptional interpersonal skills within all levels of the organization - ability to build relationships, establish trust, and maintain neutrality
•Excellent analytical skills
•Strong ability to work within a team-setting, inclusive of other’s ideas, motivates others
•Excellent organizational and project management skills 
•Ability to create and deliver presentations to small and large audiences
•Above average skills with excel and proficiency in other computer applications
•Proven ability in being results oriented while ensuring absolute confidentiality
